Bruce Springsteen's "Darkness On the Edge of Town" album cover?
I'd really love a copy of that picture, but without the album title and stuff written on it. Like the original photograph. I can't find it anywhere on my usual sites. Got any ideas? 
There's a very cool book filled with out-take photos that were taken in the same sessions as the covers for both "Darkness on the Edge of Town" (1978) and "The River" (1980), as well as many other high quality candid, and posed photos taken during that time frame.
Title: "Days of Hope and Dreams: An intimate portrait of Bruce Springsteen." The photographer is Frank Stefanko. There are two versions, The inexpensive one is a $30 paperback - 9" by 12", 136 pages, 70 B & W and 18 color photos.
There also is an even cooler, limited edition (450 copies),hardcover version. This version is numbered and signed by Stefanko. It includes an 8 by 10" B & W photo print - i.e., not digital, also signed by Stefanko, very suitable for mounting and framing.
This latter version is highly collectable and sold-out soon after being released. The book and print are housed in a classy clamshell box designed specifically for the package. Backstreets.com quickly sold-out of their allotment, even at the initial price of $175. I'd begin my search for one by asking them for leads. I've seen the collector's version for sale on eBay for $500, although with patience, I'm sure you can find one for half that amount.
It's a very high quality production - 100 lb. Japanese matte art paper, etc. Every detail is handled with complete class.
The softcover version has the same photos (no signed print) and it lacks the super high quality paper, etc., but it should be available from Backstreets.Com, Amazon, and probably even Barnes and Noble.
