I have a 3 yr old daughter and she will soon be turning 4 (in december) and I want some help deciding what to do for her 4th Birthday. We allready plan on doing a family party seperate from a friends party, because our family lives too far away to have them held together. What are some fun things to do at a 4 yr olds birthday party without it being too expensive? Thanks in advance!
Go to the dollar store and buy alot of cheap little toys. Get one or two more expensive toys (big prizes). Buy some balloons and streamers. Since it will be December, I imagine it will be cold, sooo...
A couple days before the party, have your daughter help you make a pinata. Blow up a balloon. Make it really big. Use old newspaper and hodge podge and plaster it on the balloon. leave a small hole in the bottom. Make a balloon pinata or you could even paint it to look like a face. Have fun with it. Once it dries pop the balloon and remove it from the small hole. Next use that hole to make a small door in the bottom to fill with candy. There you have your pinata.
For games try these. Put the kids in their coats, assuming their is no snow outside, and let them play egg toss. Make sure you boil the eggs so it wont be so messy if they drop them and it makes it easier to catch them for 4 yr olds.
Pin the tail on the donkey is always a fun game.
