Has the Hardcore/Rave scene gone too cheesy???????
This is towards the UK people really. I produced happy hardcore back in 1997-2000 and loving the new hardcore stuff thats being released such as Force and Ritmen, Dougal and Gammer etc. But then i listen to Cascada and Basshunter and think wtf is going on. Has the scene gone or going downhill???
I still dj Old Skool/Rave and still love it to bits as that never really went downhill.
I agree with you about Basshunter lol. But in aspect of Darren Styles, I know him very well, even when he was in Force+Styles/Evolution and he used t be ok, but now he has he's head up he's a**e very much so and its not good to that in a person who has done well. Force on the other hand is doing really well teaming up with Jamie Ritmen and to have UKDance back on the scene as well. I used to go to Camden Palace when Jumping Jack Frost came on the scene back in 1990, nothing can beat them das or the music
Ihave to admit, I'm kinda stuck between saying yes & no. Alot of the scene HAS gone majorly downhill, like neds for instance & mindless violence. I've been into the scene for years, infact alot of years, since i was illegal haha!! & in alot of aspects it HAS got worse, Basshunter for example, omg why, WHY WHY WHY WHY the |F*ck do they feel the need to rape our ears with that sh!tty song Honestly, I hate it, i want to rip my arms off & beat my stereo till it shuts up if it comes on when im in the car!!!!
One thing I will say, good old Darren Styles is still going pretty strong! Hixxy isnt tho, its sad
