Real Rhythm and Blues had real instruments and I think it died when Rock and Roll was created as a "white" version of it.Soul is not real Rhythm and Blues and neither is funk!Disco out of the question most people hated it in the late 1970's which led to Disco Demolish Night!

If you want real blues, then look no further than 1800s slavery in America - that was where it was invented. people had stuff to actually sing about then.
