Which guitar methods with you recommened to start learning jazz?
i know how to play some blues, basic pentatonic scale stuff mainly but i'd like to learn jazz guitar in the style of charlie christian, bb king (someone told me he uses 'arpreggios') and mundell lowe. i'd also like to learn how to improvise like miles davis/john coltrane but on the guitar.
BB King is blues, not jazz. If you want to play jazz, you definitely will need to know your chords and what scales to use with these chords.
Get the Berklee Jazz guitar book or Joe Pass guitar method.
