Cant Fight
I've had enough I think tomorrow Im getting into a fight, cant let them do this to me?
No. In 7th grade they did the same to me. Make fun of me if I missed 3 pointers. Fat jokes. But no. In my country, if someone makes fun of you, after school they get their azz kicked. Thats how I used to roll. This country has soften me. The only reason I dont fight is because I'll have to tell them what happened. And im gonna have to be in the office for an hour explaining everything. But I've had enough. I've held it inside for so long. Today this guy kicked me in the back and left a huge footmark. But I'm done. They think Im a loser and a puzzy. But I'm not. In my country I fought all the time. I love America and I dont know if its the whole country but this school has some trash talkers. Immature. I cant let them do this to me anymore. I think Im back to my "old self" Where if someone talked smack, after school they would see my fists. So anyway can the parents press charges against me if I fight with their son?
I was never the type to throw down over mere words. However, when I was a freshman in high school, I played pick up ball during lunch time. I didn't really know anyone. Whenever I would go up for a rebound, a short jerk named Tab would charge at me and shove me while I was still in the air. After taking three of these cheap shots, I baited him. After the ball bounced off the rim, I jumped into the air, turned, and kicked as hard as I could. I caught the guy in the chin and sent him sprawling. Tab got up and started to come after me, but his friends held him back. After that day, Tab never screwed with me. We would give each other dirty looks.
I felt like I had to assert myself. I did so then and one other time that year. I don't know if word of those incidents ever got around, but as a sophomore, junior, and senior, I was left alone.
