How would you construct a dummy chorus line?
I need to figure out how to contruct a "dummy" chorus line to be incorporated with real girls for a college production of Best Little Whorehouse in Texas....any ideas?
In the original production, the fake chorus members were fairly realistic looking soft-sculpture dolls - their arms were connected, so that the real chorus girls could put the arms over their shoulders and hold them up.
Think of a kick line, with the girls' arms over each others shoulders ... it looks like that.
I have seen it performed with the legs on marionette strings, so that the chorus girls were also able to life the individual legs of the dolls - it looked complicated to me - but very veryVERY funny!
