Trinity Lane Music

I am looking for songs with good songs with exotic sounds, such as 'Get Miles' by Gomez, and perhaps the way some of Genesis' music has strange drum rhythms (drum machines), and things like the strange bell sound that goes out of tune in the song 'I Can't Dance'.

All of these songs give somewhat of a 'makeshift' sound, as if the instruments used are not really instruments, but (as an exaggerated example), tools or other objects being used to make the sounds (watch the video to I Cant Dance to see my point).

Tonight, Tonight, Tonight, by Genesis is another good example. I just like that somewhat ethnic sound.

I do not know if Indie Rock is considered what i want or what? Songs and bands suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thanx!
As a side note, by 'exotic sounds' I do NOT mean computer sounds (like dance music), as Get Miles may mislead in that area. Thanx again!
