No, you won't look like a pillock. I can't dance, and have been clubbing for years - most people can't, it's not like on telly, most people just shuffle at first! The trick is to get as plastered as possible so you don't care what you look like, and I can honestly say I seem to get rhythm with a bit of alcohol in my blood! Without it no chance.
Maybe it's just that I get passed the point of caring, but seriously, you can either stand and talk & drink (probably about half of people do) or just do your thing - you won't look like a pillock!
