I'm sure this isn't normal. I thought it needed cleaning because it was warbling when it was playing tapes, but when I looked at it, I noticed that the metal slim pin was constantly going round even when the play button wasn't pressed.
--by the way, before I saw this problem, I noticed that the right black roller (that goes in the right middle of the tape) was more stiff than the left one, so I sprayed it with switch cleaner, it's now quite loose like the left one. I don't know if this has caused the problem, it seems odd that I didn't know that the pin was moving before if it was at all.

For some models of cassette deck (including my Yamaha), it is perfectly normal. The metal pin (called a "capstan") will always rotate whilst the deck is switched on, even if there is no tape playing.
I've no idea what "switch cleaner" is, but cassette deck heads, capstans and pinch rollers should all be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol or a proprietary cleaner. Anything else can damage the mechanism.
In regard to your previous question, the problem you have with rewinding the tapes is probably caused by a worn drive belt.
